Sri Lanka: A Journey Through Culture and Wildlife Wonders

Sri Lanka’s cultural depth is recognised by UNESCO, which has declared six archaeological world heritage sites. It includes the ancient city of Polonnaruwa and the paintings and Buddha statues of Dambulla Cave Temple, which are amazingly atmospheric.

A wonderfully balanced tour that covers all of Sri Lanka’s interests over 6 nights and 7 days is the Culture and Wild Life tour.
It comprehensively takes you through nine places’ historical, cultural, and other important cities and includes a safari to the renowned Yala National Park for leopard sightings.

The itinerary covers the Pinnawala elephant orphanage, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Polonnaruwa, the irrigation marvel, the Minneriya elephant habitat, and Hiriwaduna to fully comprehend Sri Lankan culture.

The Dambulla Cave Temple. Matale’s spice garden. Kandy, the site of the Buddha’s Sacred Tooth Relic, and then the famed Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Giragama’s tea estate are all worthy visits. Your final leg of the journey will take you to Nuwara Eliya, a city known for its cool climate.

A safari in Yala National Park would be the adventure highlight.
A stop at the Galle fort, which provides an insight into colonial rule and a stunning fortification that has been kept in its former splendour, will round up your wonderful journey.
