Day 1

Pinnawala & Dambulla

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by a personal guide and transferred to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a sanctuary for displaced and injured elephants, known for its conservation efforts and daily river baths. After the visit, proceed to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in a standard, superior, deluxe, or luxury accommodation.
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO site with ancient murals, then proceed to Minneriya National Park, known for its wildlife and historic Minneriya tank. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Sigiriya & Polonnaruwa

Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, exploring its ancient ruins, murals, and "Mirror Wall." Then, head to Polonnaruwa, a medieval city known for its palaces, shrines, and the impressive Parakrama Samudraya reservoir. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit a spice garden in Matale to learn about Sri Lanka's spice production. Continue to Kandy, where you’ll explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a key historical landmark. Optionally, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens or experience the vibrant Kandy Esala Perahera festival if available. Afterward, proceed to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in a standard, superior, deluxe, or luxury accommodation.

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, renowned for its tropical flora, including orchids, spices, and medicinal herbs. Then, proceed to Giragama to explore a tea plantation and learn about Sri Lanka's famous Ceylon tea. Afterward, head to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in a standard, superior, deluxe, or luxury accommodation.
After breakfast, visit Horton Plains National Park, known for its montane grasslands, cloud forests, and landmarks like World's End and Bakers Falls. The park is rich in biodiversity and home to many endemic species. Then, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England,” known for its colonial charm, tea plantations, and cool climate.
